You can find the status of your trip by navigating to the Your Trips screen in your Seatfrog app, and looking at the trip card information.
Your trip will show one of several statuses including one of the following pieces of information:
- Timer not showing
- Timer is showing
- Bidding has ended
- No Seatfrog upgrades available
- Auction closed early
Congratulations, there are Seatfrog upgrades available for your trip! If the timer is not showing, it means bidding hasn’t opened yet. You can review what First Class has to offer, and place an opening bid. Seatfrog will place this bid for you automatically as soon as the auction opens. We suggest putting in your best price for the chance to win an upgrade as soon as the auction opens.

Bidding is open for your trip. You can select your trip to view more details about bidding.
On the bidding details screen, you can place a bid right up until bidding closes. Bidding usually closes 15 to 30 mins before departure. Keep an eye on the timer so you don’t miss out on the chance to upgrade.
Remember that sometimes there are multiple seats available for an upgrade. When this happens, Seatfrog will release certain seats to the highest bidder at certain points during the auction. So get your best bids in early for the chance to win an upgrade before the auction closes!

Bidding has ended for your trip, and you can’t place any more bids for an upgrade on this trip. You can tap on the trip card to see the final bidding details.

If you add a trip well in advance of your scheduled departure, then your trip will say initially, NO SEATFROG UPGRADES AVAILABLE. This is because Seatfrog is a last-minute upgrades service, and we won’t know which services will have a Seatfrog upgrade available until closer to your scheduled departure.
Please check back in the app a few days before your trip to see if a Seatfrog has become available. If the status has not changed on the day of your scheduled departure, then it is unlikely we’ll have been able to secure a Seatfrog upgrade for your trip.
Please note that Seatfrog is available only on selected weekday services. If your trip is on the weekend, then it will also show this message.

There are occasions when we have to close the auction early before the usual 15-30 minutes before your scheduled departure. You’ll no longer be able to bid on a Seatfrog upgrade for your trip. This can happen for a number of different reasons:
- there is a current or forecasted disruption or operational impact on your trip
- there are no longer any Seatfrog upgrades available for your trip
- all available Seatfrog upgrades for your trip have been sold
