As Seatfrog is a last-minute upgrades service, availability of upgrades on your service are confirmed closer to your date of departure.
Seatfrog upgrades are currently available only on selected weekday services, Monday to Friday, with Virgin Trains on the East Coast routes. We currently don’t offer upgrades on the West Coast routes.
How services are selected are based on two factors:
1) Availability — If there are empty First Class seats available throughout the duration of the entire service;
2) Operational factors — We are currently operating on a selected number of services with more being added every week! The selected services may change from week to week, which is why your trip today may not be eligible, however, the same service may be eligible next week.
Added your trip more than 3 days in advance?
Please check the app again on the day of your scheduled departure to see if an upgrade has become available on your trip.
If an upgrade becomes available, you will be able to select your trip in the app, view details about the upgrade, and place an early bid.
If the trip is still showing, NO SEATFROG UPGRADES AVAILABLE, then, unfortunately, there will be no Seatfrog upgrades for that service on that day.
