How to Retract a bid.
Once you place a bid, you agree to pay for an upgrade up to the value of your bid if you win. You cannot retract or cancel your bid.
We are mindful that sometimes a bid may be a mistake, so we do ask you to confirm your bid before you place it. As a general rule, you cannot retract or cancel a bid. However, sometimes honest mistakes do occur. If this is the case, please contact our team at email@example.com.
Log into admin
You can either search for the customer by clicking the ‘User’ tab and searching on the customers email address, or their name.
When searching on the customer’s email address if no results are found this can be because the user registered with a different email address. In which case you’d need the customer to confirm the correct one.
Or because they registered with their Facebook account which may or may not use the same email address that they contacted us with.
You’ll then either need to search on their booking reference number or their name. Make sure that when searching for a customer you search for their name in the ‘User’ search tab to get accurate results.
Admin will then generate everyone on our system with that name. You’ll need to click into each person with that name and view their account and email address to see if this is the correct person. Which is why searching on their booking reference number is better as it will only bring up trips associated with that reference, which will most likely be tied to one user.
Click view to get into the trip.
This will then take you to a screen which displays all the trips on our system associated with that account.
Click the relevant trip which will bring you to:
Click on the Bids/Sales tab
To cancel the bid click:
You will need to confirm that you wish to go ahead on the following screen by clicking retract:
Bids that have already won an upgrade cannot be cancelled.
Bids that appear in the ‘old’ column cannot and do not need to be cancelled.
