Most train companies offer compensation if your train is delayed through the nationwide scheme Delay Repay. Depending on the length of the delay you may be entitled to a full or partial refund for that journey

Compensation for a delay can't be claimed from your point of purchase and needs to be applied for directly with the company you travelled with.
