What is Superfare?

Superfare is a discounted rail ticket available on selected Avanti West Coast services.

It allows you to travel for less if you are flexible about your exact departure time.

When booking Superfare, you choose:

• Your travel date

• Your departure and destination

• A preferred time window:

  • Morning

  • Afternoon

  • Evening

You do not choose a specific train.

Superfare will assign your exact departure time and send your confirmed ticket  the day before travel.

Superfare tickets are valid only on the assigned train.

Important rules

• Superfare tickets cannot be changed.

• Superfare tickets cannot be refunded unless the train is cancelled.

• You must travel on the train assigned to you.

• Railcards and additional discounts do not apply.

Your booking confirmation

After purchasing a Superfare ticket, you will receive a booking confirmation email.

This email confirms:

• The route you selected

• Your chosen travel date

• Your selected time window (morning, afternoon, or evening)

It also includes your booking reference, which is a 10-character alphanumeric code containing a mix of upper and lower case letters (for example: DpLAmSfQdZ).

Your booking reference is required if you contact Support.

The booking confirmation is sent to the email address entered at the time of booking.

Superfare bookings cannot be changed once confirmed.

Updating your email address in the Seatfrog app does not change the email linked to an existing Superfare booking.

If you entered the wrong email address when booking, contact Support and provide your booking reference.
