Industrial action by the RMT union will affect EMR Intercity and EMR Connect services on these dates. A reduced timetable is expected, so we recommend checking your journey before you travel.

What should I do?
If you're travelling on any of the affected dates:
- Check your journey before leaving for the station.
- Allow extra time if you do travel.
- Consider travelling on a different day if your plans are flexible.
- Follow any travel advice issued by East Midlands Railway.
As timetables may change, we recommend checking your journey as close to departure as possible.
What if I don't want to travel?
If your train is cancelled or you choose not to travel because of the disruption, you may be entitled to a refund or be able to travel on an alternative service in line with East Midlands Railway's arrangements. Please check directly with the operator for the options available for your ticket.

If your upgraded train is cancelled and you no longer travel, you can apply for a refund of your unused upgrade using our refund form:

If you choose to travel on a different train, please note that Seatfrog upgrades can't be transferred to another service, though at the discretion of the train manager, may be accepted.
