How do eTickets work?
If you selected eTicket when booking your rail ticket, your ticket is issued digitally.
Your eTicket is sent to your registered email address and is also available in the Seatfrog app.
eTickets cannot be collected from a ticket office or self-service ticket machine.
How you receive your eTicket
After booking, your eTicket:
Is emailed to you - located as a link at the bottom of the confirmation email.
Appears in the Seatfrog app
Includes a barcode for travel
How to use your eTicket
When travelling:
Scan the barcode from your phone at the ticket gates, or
Show the barcode to station staff if gates are not available
You may also print the eTicket at home and scan the printed barcode.
Important
eTickets cannot be printed at a station ticket machine.
eTickets cannot be changed to “Collect at station” after booking.
You must present the barcode to travel.
A booking reference or confirmation email without the barcode is not valid for travel.
If your barcode does not scan, speak to station staff for assistance.
