Where is my refund? (Refund times, delays, and when to check with your bank)
If you are waiting for a refund, have not received your refund, or want to know how long a refund takes, the timeframe depends on the type of request you submitted.
Upgrade and Train Swap refunds
If your upgrade or Train Swap application was successful and a refund is due:
- Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 days
Secret Fare and Superfare refunds
If your Secret Fare or Superfare application was successful and a refund is due:
- Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 days
Train ticket refunds
Refund times for train tickets depend on how your refund was requested:
Refund requested in the Seatfrog app
If you submitted your refund request directly in the Seatfrog app:
- Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 days
Refund requested via Fast Rail Ticketing
If your refund was submitted via our ticketing partner:
- Processed by Fast Rail Ticketing
- Can take up to 28 days to be processed
- Most refunds are completed sooner, but please allow up to 28 days

Why is my refund taking time?
If you are still waiting for your refund, this is usually because:
- Your request is still within the normal processing timeframe
- Your refund is being handled by a third party (e.g. Fast Rail Ticketing)
- Your bank is taking additional time to process the payment
What happens after my refund is processed?
Once Seatfrog has processed your refund:
- The refund is sent to your original payment method
- It can take your bank 3–5 additional days to show in your account
👉 If your refund has been processed but is not showing on your card or account after this time, you will need to contact your bank directly, as they control the final stage of the payment.
