If you have won an upgrade for one passenger but need additional upgrades for others in your group, you may still be able to secure more seats.
Why can’t I bid again on the same account?
Once an upgrade has been issued for a specific trip on your account, you cannot add the same trip again to place another bid.
This prevents duplicate bids on the same journey from one account.
How to get another upgrade
To bid for additional upgrades:
Another member of your travel group will need to create a separate Seatfrog account.
They can then search for the same train using the Train Search feature.
If the auction is still live and upgrades are available, they can place a bid.
How to increase your chances
If the auction is still open:
Place a competitive maximum bid.
If your bid reaches a hidden price point (Milestone), you may win an instant upgrade.
Seatfrog will automatically bid on your behalf up to your maximum amount.
You will only be charged if you win.
Prefer certainty?
If available, you can use the Upgrade Now option to purchase an upgrade instantly at a fixed price.
This avoids participating in the auction.

When placing a bid, always review and confirm the number of upgrades selected before submitting.
