Does not apply to: Superfare, Secret Fare, Rail Tickets or TrainSwap
Can I change or cancel my bid?
Whether you can cancel or change your bid depends on whether the auction has gone live.
Before the auction goes live
You can change or retract your bid at any time before the auction opens.
You can:
Place a new bid with a different amount or number of upgrades (this replaces your previous bid once confirmed).
Retract your bid from the auction screen.
Remove the auction from the app, which will also delete your bid.
How to retract a bid
Open the auction you want to change.
Tap on the auction to view the details.
Select ‘Retract bid’ (this may appear under the main auction screen or within the ‘Help’ tab, depending on your app version).
Confirm the retraction.
Once confirmed, it will be as if you never placed a bid.
After the auction goes live
Once the auction has started, bids cannot be cancelled, changed, or retracted.
If you can see that you are currently winning, the auction is live and your bid is active.
This means:
Your bid cannot be removed.
If you win, you will be charged.
Upgrade once issued can not be cancelled.
When you place a bid, you agree to pay up to your bid value if you win.
