Applies to: Rail Tickets purchased through the Seatfrog app
Does not apply to: Seatfrog Upgrades, Superfare, Secret Fare or TrainSwap
How do I cancel a refund request?
If you request a refund for a flexible rail ticket, your booking will be locked until the refund is processed or the request is cancelled.
While your booking is locked:
You cannot access your ticket in the Seatfrog app.
Both outbound and return journeys may be locked (for return tickets).
If you booked eTickets, you can still access your original tickets from your booking confirmation email.
The ticket links are included at the bottom of that email.
If you need access to your ticket again in the app, you must cancel the refund request.
When should I cancel a refund request?
You may need to cancel your refund request if:
You still plan to travel.
You need access to your ticket details in the app.
You submitted the request by mistake.
If you submitted a refund request via the external refund portal (seatfrog-refunds.fastrailticketing.com), cancelling in the app does not cancel that external application.
How to cancel a refund request in the app
Open your booking in the Seatfrog app.
Tap “Refund requested.”
On the next screen, tap the green “Cancel refund request” button.
Once cancelled:
Your booking will be unlocked.
Your ticket will be accessible again in the app.
You will not receive a refund unless you submit a new request or applied externally.
Important
Cancelling a refund request in the app does not cancel any external refund application submitted via the refund portal.
Refund processing times vary.
