Applies to: Rail Tickets purchased through the Seatfrog app
Does not apply to: Seatfrog Upgrades, Superfare, Secret Fare or TrainSwap
How do I check if I have a seat reservation?
To see whether your rail ticket includes a seat reservation, open your booking in the Seatfrog app or consult your booking confirmation email.
In your trip details, look for a coach and seat number (for example: Coach B, Seat 41).
If a coach and seat number are displayed, you have a confirmed seat reservation.
If no coach or seat number is shown, your ticket does not include a reserved seat.
When might I not have a seat reservation?
Seat reservations are not included with some ticket types, including:
Off-Peak tickets
Anytime tickets
Open Return tickets
Flexible tickets
Reservation availability also depends on the train operator and service.
Can Seatfrog add or change a seat reservation?
No. Seatfrog cannot add, change, or update seat reservations on your booking.
If you do not have a seat reservation and would like one, you must contact the train operator directly.
Seat reservations are subject to availability. If no seats are available for your service, a reservation cannot be issued.
Important
If you do not have a seat reservation, you may sit in any unreserved seat.
Seat reservations cannot be guaranteed on all services.
