Can I upgrade my Standard Class rail ticket?
Yes — you can bid for a Seatfrog upgrade if upgrades are available for your service.
Upgrades are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
When are upgrades available?
Upgrades are available only on selected services and routes operated by participating train companies.
When you search for and book a rail ticket in the Seatfrog app, we indicate which services are expected to have upgrades available.
If you book a service where an upgrade auction is available at that time, the auction will be automatically added to your account after purchase.
If no auction is shown for your selected train, upgrades are not available for that service at the time of booking.
Upgrade availability can change closer to departure. You can use the Train Search tool in the app to check manually nearer to your travel date.
Booking in advance
If you are booking your rail ticket in advance, last-minute upgrades may not yet be available.

Important
You must hold a valid Standard Class ticket for the same train to use an upgrade.
Upgrades apply only to the specific service selected.
