Applies to: First Class upgrade auctions purchased through the Seatfrog app
Does not apply to: Superfare, Secret Fare, Rail Tickets or TrainSwap
How to retract a bid
Whether you can retract your bid depends on whether the auction has gone live.
If the auction is live
You cannot retract or cancel your bid once the auction has started.
If you can see other bids or you are currently winning, the auction is live and your bid is active.
This means:
Your bid cannot be removed.
You are committed to your bid amount.
If you win the auction, you will be charged.
Upgrade bids are non-refundable once the auction is live.
Our support team cannot manually remove a live bid.
If the auction has not started yet
You can retract your bid at any time before the auction goes live.
Retracting your bid will remove it completely, as if it was never placed.
How to retract a bid
If the auction has not started, follow these steps in the Seatfrog app:
Open the Seatfrog app and tap the Auction icon.
Select the auction where you placed your bid.
Scroll right to the Help section.

Once confirmed, your bid will be removed.
