Eligible ticket types
You can use Seatfrog to upgrade with East Midlands Railway, using your valid Standard Class ticket. There are no exclusions on fares so whether you've booked a Super Off-Peak or a Standard Advance you're eligible to upgrade to First Class.
What is included in my First Class upgrade?
EMR First Class train travel offers a relaxed environment and more space to stretch out. It’s available on intercity services to and from London St Pancras and includes:
- Spacious, comfortable seats, each with a table*
- Quieter carriages
- Plug sockets for laptops and mobile devices
- Catering
*Seat reservations are currently unavailable. Upgrades are issued on a counted place basis, meaning passengers must choose a seat from those available when they board.
Catering
*Complimentary catering will be available to First Class customers Monday to Saturday. Choose from a selection of quality complimentary food, tasty treats and drinks, all served at your seat by your on board host throughout your journey.
