As Seatfrog is a last-minute upgrades service, availability of upgrades on your service are confirmed closer to your date of departure.
Seatfrog upgrades are available on selected peak and off-peak Grand Central services across the network, with availability dictated by expected passenger volumes in both First and Standard Class carriages.
Ticket types
We currently support all Standard Class ticket types on selected services with Grand Central.
Our upgrades run Monday to Sunday and services are selected based on two factors:
- Availability i.e. if there are empty First Class seats available throughout the duration of the entire service
- Operational factors

Whatever your travel needs Grand Central's First Class has got you covered. Whether it's the perfect place to catch up on work, relax, or enjoy the view you can do it all with:

Stretch out with plenty of legroom
Complimentary First Class refreshments*
Grand Central offer at-seat catering and refreshments (*subject to availability), you can select and order your complimentary items via the at-seat catering service when you board the train. Simply scan the QR code on the seat or table closest to you and select your refreshments.
Passengers can additionally order complimentary tea or coffee to their seats using the Journey Central system, or by requesting this from the on-board customer service assistant.
