My payment failed — what should I do?
If your payment fails after you win an auction, you have up to 10 minutes to complete payment before the auction expires.
During this time, your upgrade is not confirmed.
If payment is not completed within the 10-minute window, the upgrade will be released.
How to complete your payment
When a payment fails, you will see a notification in the app.
To complete payment:
Open the auction details screen.
Follow the payment prompts shown.
Choose one of the available options:
Retry the same card, or
Add a new card within the auction flow.
Complete payment within the 10-minute window.
Once payment is successful, your upgrade will be confirmed.
Important: do not update your card via Account settings
Do not update your card by going to:
Account → Payment details
Updating your default payment method in Account settings will not complete payment for the current auction.
To secure your upgrade, you must complete payment within the auction screen itself.
If payment still fails
Check the following:
Card validity
Ensure your card has not expired.
Add a new card if necessary.
Available funds
Ensure sufficient funds are available.
Check daily transaction limits with your bank if needed.
Internet connection
Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
Important
Your upgrade is not secured until payment is successful.
If the 10-minute window expires, the upgrade will be offered to other bidders.
Seatfrog cannot extend the payment window once it expires.
Before bidding, ensure your payment details are up to date and that you have sufficient funds to cover your maximum bid.
