Our Refer-a-Friend programme is designed to be simple:

- When they make their first purchase, they'll receive their reward
- Once their purchase is confirmed, you'll receive your reward too

1. Why didn't my friend's name work when entering it?
This could be for several reasons: your friend may not have registered for the refer-a-friend scheme, you might be entering a nickname rather than the name they registered with, or there might be multiple people with the same name signed up. If it's the latter case, you'll need to enter their email address as well. If you don't know their email address, please ask them to check the email address in their Seatfrog app. They'll find this on the Account screen under Personal Information.
2. Why haven't I received my referral reward yet?
There are a few common reasons:
- You may not have followed your friend's link or entered their name correctly at checkout
- You might be using a different email address to claim the offer than the one you used for your purchase
- Some rewards have a waiting period before they're issued
- Your friend may not have completed their purchase yet (rewards are only sent after the referred friend buys something)
3. Why isn't my reward code working?
Please check that:
- Your purchase meets the offer terms
- You're not trying to use the code alongside another promotion
- You haven't accidentally added spaces before or after the code
- Everything is spelled correctly. If it still isn't working, please contact customer service directly.
4. How do I share the referral with my friends?
You can share in several ways:
- Use the social media sharing options after purchase
- Email your friends directly using the referral system
- Simply tell your friends to enter your name at checkout when they make a purchase
5. I referred someone but didn't get my reward, what should I do?
First, confirm that your friend has completed their purchase, as rewards are only issued after they've bought something. Also check that they're a new customer, as the rewards are only valid for first-time purchases.
6. Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
- Maximum 5 referrals in 24 hours
- Maximum 25 referrals in a year
- Maximum 10 introductions in 24 hours
7. How does Mention Me use my data?
Mention Me is fully GDPR compliant and committed to protecting your personal data. They act as a Data Processor, while Seatfrog is the Data Controller. Your data belongs to Seatfrog, and Mention Me processes it on their behalf according to a Data Processing Agreement that includes technical and organizational safeguards.
8. What control do I have over my data?
You can make three types of GDPR requests to Mention Me:
- Right To Be Forgotten: Request deletion of all information they hold on you
- Subject Access Request: Receive a file with all information they hold on you
- Unsubscribe: Stop receiving communications about the referral programme Email these requests to gdpr@mention-me.com.
9. Why did my friend get a different offer than I received?
Sometimes our offers change and they may go up or go down. You have our latest offer. I'm sorry if it's changed since your friend signed up.
10. Can I use more than one code?
No, our system only allows one discount code per transaction. Referral codes cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discount codes. If you have multiple codes, you'll need to save them for separate purchases. This ensures each purchase receives the appropriate discount while maintaining the integrity of our referral program.
