Can I swap my train and keep my upgrade?
No. Seatfrog upgrades cannot be transferred to a different train.
Important:
“Transfer” here means moving the upgrade to another train, date, or departure time. You can still buy an upgrade for someone else or share it with the person travelling on that booked service.
If you used Train Swap
If you swap your Advance ticket to a new service using Train Swap:
Your original upgrade will not move to the new train.
The upgrade remains valid only for the original service.
Upgrades are tied to a specific train, date, and departure time.
Can I upgrade my new train?
Yes.
If upgrades are available on your new service, you can:
Join the auction, or
Purchase an Upgrade Now option (if available).
Upgrade availability depends on the specific service and route.
If no auction is shown in the app, upgrades are not available for that train.
Important
Upgrades cannot be swapped, transferred, or amended.
Upgrades are non-refundable once confirmed (unless the train is cancelled and you do not travel).
Support cannot manually move an upgrade to a different service.
