What if my train is cancelled after using Train Swap?
Your options depend on which service was cancelled and which service you travelled on.
If your original train was cancelled
If you swapped to a different service and did not travel on your original train, you cannot claim compensation or a refund for the cancelled original service.
Refund and compensation apply only to the train you travelled on.
If your swapped train was cancelled
If the new service you travelled on was cancelled, you may be entitled to a refund or alternative travel under the train operator’s cancellation policy.
You must contact the train operator directly to:
Confirm alternative travel options, or
Request a refund if you chose not to travel.
