To pass through the ticket gates, scan your original rail ticket.
Train Swap tickets may not open the station barriers.

Scan the original ticket barcode that you booked with.
What to show onboard
When the Train Manager checks tickets, show your Train Swap ticket for the new service.
If you can’t get through the barrier
If the barrier does not open or you have difficulty entering the station:
Speak to a member of station staff.
Show your original ticket and your Train Swap ticket.
Staff can help you access the platform.
Important
Your Train Swap ticket is valid for travel on your swapped service.
Your original ticket should be used for barrier access.
Always carry both tickets when travelling after a Train Swap.
